A delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and National Development of Hungary visit the Consorci de l’Estany to see the experience of LIFE Potamo Fauna
On May the 12th a Hungarian delegation, from the Ministries of Agriculture and National Development, came to know about LIFE Potamo Fauna in the framework of a visit to Spain to learn about different projects of this European program and to know how to improve their ability to manage LIFE projects. Spain is a country that has obtained benefits from the LIFE program in the period 2007/2013. And now, in the period 2014/2020 Hungary obtained a LIFE, the new category "Technical Assistance Project" aimed at governments and local agents that have historically had little success in getting LIFE. Basically the meeting took place at the headquarters of the Consorci de l’Estany, the beneficiary partner of the LIFE Potamo Fauna. It helped to make the project implementation, how to carry out the management and so on.
On the visit to Spain, which took place from 9 to 12 May, the Hungarian delegation was able to visit other projects like LIFE such as LIFE + Pinassa in Sabadell, LIFE Activa Red Natura 2000 and the LIFE Montserrat.
