The Technical Director of EC LIFE projects, Dørte Pardo made an inspection visit to the LIFE project Potamo Fauna

On 22nd and 23rd March, LIFE project Potamo Fauna was visited by the Director-inspection of LIFE projects of the European Commission, Dorte López Pardo, along with the external monitoring evaluator of LIFE projects to Spain and Portugal, José Álvarez. During the visit, Alvarez and Pardo visited different facilities such as the laboratory of the naiads, and also the Estany de Banyoles, where they could see the Boat Station disinfection system to prevent the colonization of zebra mussels in the lake. They also visited the breeding center for native crayfish in Olot, among other areas. There was also a field visit to other different places where the project takes place. The technical office of the LIFE Potamo Fauna met with the members of the European Commission to financially assess the project in the headquarters of the Consorci de l’Estany.
